Jayce top against Malphite

This is tricky because I can poke, but so can he. If I poke too much he just B's and TPs back. He built super tanky, so I got a tear and then rushed Black Cleaver. I had some misplays along the way, since the malp was duoing with their jungle Naut and I would get caught off guard constantly. The kassadin roamed a bit too, but it's fine cause we got their middle turret early. Whenever Malphite left I made sure to hit his turret up, and it was at about half hp by the time I got BC. One good thing happened RIGHT before I got BC, and that was a turret dive by malp and naut. They were discombobulated, even though they caught me in the middle of the lane, and I was able to kill them both before going down. That's when I got BC and started fighting malp. What I did was I pressed W in ranged form and hit him with those 3 shots, then I would E+Q and switch to hammer form. I did W+Q+E and then backed off and over half his HP was gone. From there I did something and killed him (used both my summoners, just don't really remember the fight much), and I pushed both top turrets down. We won the match about 5 minutes after, ignoring the top inhib turret but getting both middle and bottom inhibs. Baron wasn't touched this match. I went 7-3-4, which could've been better if naut hadn't camped so much early.

Rumble in the Jungle, but Top lane.

Okay so I played rumble against trynd, very even because of the fiddles jungle on their team keeping me zoned. I didn't get much farm but it was okay because he pushed and I got whatever I could manage under the turret. Sej came top and we killed him once. Malzahar got SUPER fed middle and carried the enemy team, gg.

Boo

Got the 8 days until elo drop from AFK warning today, so I played a Sona match. MF and I did very well, beating ezreal janna without any help from our jungle malphite. Unfortunately, the enemy morde didn't get focused at all, including in fights, so he got to 7-2 after a couple fights and from there we couldn't beat them. They used ezreal to split push really well, and had our whole base before a baron went down. We did win a fight because we caught them when ezreal was gone. I hit all 4 of them with my ult, malp hit his on morde, Cho ate morde and MF unleashed her ult on them so it was a free baron and mid lane. We didn't get the inhib though because our jayce went back to stop ezreal from killing all 3 of our inhibs. In the end I think I threw the hardest because we had an okay-ish engage from malphite, but when I ulted, the enemies had mostly split right out of its range, so I only hit morde and he had zhonya'd. There wasn't much I could really do, it came down to MF positioning (because darius + skarner could kill her without even taking damage really) and even if I ulted all 5 of them, we hadn't done much collapsing when malp ulted so we would've lost the fight anyway.

I really thought by playing a support I could count on my team to carry, while I just made plays, but it doesn't work like that. Time to learn how to play Vayne.

Played a ranked AND...

So I played Jayce top, and I got baited into giving first blood by two major factors
1) Our jungler (J4) ganked when I was at half hp (around level 4) and we almost killed Elise, but Lee jumped on me. I died, Elise didn't.
2) I seriously underestimated Lee. I could've escaped him, but I didn't think he could kill me so fast. Insane early game damage I never even knew about.

The game progressed, kept even CS with Elise even through a couple more Lee ganks (no more J4 straight up ganks). J4 did countergank once though, and we had TF so I ended up 1-3-1 at some point. Elise and Lee loved diving me, mainly because Lee did SO MUCH damage, and Elise was really tanky (sunfire etc.). 1-3-1 was approx. my score before Teamfight stage, where we contended in fights but couldn't quite deal with their Ezreal. Once I had Muramana and BC though, I was able to kill Ez with E+Q+W in ranged form. Most of the fights I spent hiding in the back in order to just hit anyone who jumped on our MF. Finally there was a fight at Baron where I instantly killed ez and MF landed a perfect ult. We had their middle inhib at the time, so TF ulted into their base and burst through their Nexus turrets + finished off the game. 15 LP for me.

Hi there! If I didn't personally advertise this, then I have no idea how you stumbled upon this blog thing, but thanks! I guess. 

I generally avoid blogs and whatever, but I want to climb up the Elo Ladder, and I figured the best way to document it would be through an honest and public, non-locally hosted site. Which might sound weird but who cares cause I'm gonna do it.

I will try to leave updates on this that describe either the matches I play, or my daily/weekly progress. I might end up posting very infrequently, like only every time I move up a division.

BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MY LEAGUE STORY THUS FAR:

My username is NOT Ropoop14 on League of Legends. That username is taken up by my "smurf" account, I won 9/10 of my placement matches, landing me safely in Silver I. This account is very weak in terms of champions owned and runes purchased, so I'm letting it be to see how far it'll sink (hoping for Bronze V, that'd be fun to play around in).

My main account is Tauvalian, a Gold V account at the moment. I believe I have the ability to go much further than this, I just need to improve my mechanics and champion pool. I believe matchmaking is against me though, because I gain less LP from winning 2 matches than I LOSE from 1 match, and I'm at 0 LP right now. I want to prove matchmaking wrong, and hopefully raise that KD, because I tend to suicide a lot when matches are nearing the end.

I play any role, but I usually pray to get top or AD. I enjoy feeling like I can carry, so if the other two lane's lose there's a chance I can pull it all together, and if I lose then I can truly blame myself. As a jungler I feel too easy to counter, and I don't want to take the blame for every loss. When I play mid I tend to get camped really hard, because I don't play many mid champions so I lack a bit of experience there and the junglers pick up on it quick. I actually play a pretty mean support (really bad luck with Taric in ranked so far, don't know why, he's pretty much my favorite), but if top and mid lose then I hate being support because I sit back and watch us lose.

Mid: Nid, Ori, Kat
Jungle: Xin, Sejuani
ADC: Varus, Cait, Trist, Twitch (Any AD, love them all really).
Supp: Taric, Sona, Janna(to counter Thresh usually)

You can probably tell that I don't really touch the newer champs too much, and from what I've seen they all have some crazy potential. I create this blog in hopes that by documenting my matches, I can reflect and improve. Can't hurt, right?
